Won't make a difference at all . . .

See, A Smoking Gun in the Kagen case. It isn't about the issue. It's about honesty. There's the old test beloved by trial attorneys -- if the witness lies about something, how can you believe anything else they say because they could be lying again. If she says she will judge "impartially and modestly, " well, maybe she has her fingers crossed.

On the other hand, I doubt if this will make any difference. This hearing is just another show for the rubes.

Oh, and banning books is okay, too.
